Project Overview

Inventrip transforms travel into an effortless and personalized adventure. The app integrates with smart tourist signs via NFC/QR codes, allowing travelers to connect and store insights from each destination. Enhanced connectivity ensures you're never more than a tap away from relevant travel information, with geofencing that automatically provides context-aware content as you explore.

Challenge

Creating a unified travel experience across iOS and Android that works seamlessly with physical smart tourist signs, handles complex geofencing scenarios, and provides reliable offline functionality in areas with poor connectivity.

Solution

We built fully native apps for both platforms using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) to leverage platform-specific capabilities. NFC/QR integration connects users to smart signs instantly. Geofencing with background location services ensures context-aware content delivery. Offline-first architecture with Realm/Room databases and cached Mapbox maps guarantees functionality anywhere. Firebase provides cross-platform sync when online.
